Terms of Use
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Ross mobile application and related services (the “Service”). By creating an account or using Ross, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
Ross is a salon management tool that helps organizations manage staff, documents, finances (including salary and advances), expenses, and reports. Features may vary by plan and by user role (Owner, Manager, Employee).
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be able to form a binding contract and use the Service only for lawful business purposes.
- You must provide accurate account information and keep credentials confidential.
- Organization owners are responsible for users they invite and for the data entered on behalf of the salon.
3. Organization data and content rights
You retain ownership of content you or your organization submit to the Service (employee records, documents, logos, signatures, financial entries, and similar materials). You grant us a limited license to host, process, display, and transmit that content solely to operate the Service for your organization.
You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to upload and process third-party content (including employee personal data) in accordance with applicable law.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful activities
- Attempt to access other organizations’ data without authorization
- Interfere with security, reverse engineer the Service (except where permitted by law), or misuse APIs
- Upload malware or content that infringes others’ rights
5. Subscriptions and fees
If paid plans apply, fees, billing cycle, and cancellation terms will be presented at purchase (including via the App Store where applicable). Taxes may apply. Unless required by law, fees are non-refundable once a billing period has started.
6. Privacy
Our collection and use of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Third-party services
The Service depends on third-party infrastructure (for example cloud hosting, authentication, and push notifications). Those services have their own terms; we are not responsible for third-party outages beyond our reasonable control.
8. Intellectual property
Ross, including the app design, trademarks, and software (excluding your content), is owned by us or our licensors. These Terms do not grant you rights to copy or resell the Service.
9. Disclaimer
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.” TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. Ross is a management tool and does not provide legal, tax, or accounting advice.
10. Limitation of liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR LOST PROFITS, REVENUE, OR DATA. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID US FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM (OR USD $50 IF YOU HAVE NOT PAID).
11. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time and request account deletion as described on Delete account. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or to protect the Service and its users.
12. Changes
We may update these Terms. We will post the revised Terms with a new “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
